- can you attach a link to the quantum particle generator you made?

  1. I'm gonna try to make one of the applets link-able.

Also, here's an idea I have: Start with several waves that when separated are small, insignificant, and seemingly unrelated. But when the waves come together they will add to each other to create a much more significant and distinguishable object/form.

For instance, remember that thing I was showing Joey?: Take two waves, one traveling upside down to the right and one right-side up moving to the left. When they meet they will cancel each other out. So someone observing at that moment will tell you that the rope is flat. On the other hand the waves will re-appear after they "go through each other" and a later observer will tell that the rope is not flat at all.

These observers are describing the same system, yet they give drastically different accounts; this may be something along the lines of what we would like to do.

  2. try to copy and paste this into your browser

    http://webphysics.davidson.edu/applets
    /Superposition/GroupVelocity.html?textBox=
    2.5sin%28t%29*sin%288.0*%281.1*x-1.4*t%29%29

the third (red) wave is made by adding the first two together. its interesting because the two individual waves move to the right, but when combined they appear to move to the left.
